The Ascension Project – Who we are
The Ascension Project has helped our local youth achieve over $2 million in scholarships, while sending out good people, leaders and athletes to represent our community around the country.
Over the past 30 years Sun Oaks has hosted professional tennis events right here in Redding. Many Grand Slam players have competed in front of our community and it’s been very exciting to see them on the world stage after watching them compete on our own courts. The rarity in having world class Grand Slam competitors play for our crowds cannot be overstated!
Proceeds from this exciting tournament go towards The Ascension Project, a non-profit organization based out of Sun Oaks that develops junior tennis players in their leadership and character development, physical fitness, and tennis skills.
