Enjoy the game year round on our indoor half-court or outdoor full length court. Drop-ins are welcome indoors when programs are not in session.
Howell’s is a Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) Five-Star facility. They have four PADI certified dive instructors to fit your schedule, and can fulfill your training goals from open water through dive master certification. They offer a full line of diving equipment for sale or rental, including complete packages, at competitive prices. Their helpful and experienced staff will guide you in selecting equipment that will best meet your needs, goals, and budget.
Shasta Paddlers is a loose knit group made up of enthusiasts of kayaking, canoeing, stand up paddle boarding, and anything else that travels on the water under human power. They meet at Whiskeytown Lake just west of Redding, California for weekly evening social paddles, the Sacramento river for down river running and up-river workouts, and host a number of events throughout the Northstate. Paddlers of all skill levels are welcome to participate and we strongly encourage newbies!
Healthy Shasta is a local partnership to promote healthy and active living among north state residents. They joined forces out of concern over increasing rates of childhood obesity and chronic diseases such as type II diabetes.
Since 1975 SWEAT has been an integral part of the fitness community in Northern California, promoting health and fitness through running, walking, biking and swimming. The club has hosted over 100 running events since its inception, ranging from 5K to 50K. SWEAT also promotes fitness in the community by hosting non-competitive fun runs.
SWEAT members enjoy races, casual get-togethers, training, fun runs and social gatherings. An annual banquet is held to acknowledge the achievements of members throughout the year.
Strength & Conditioning Center
Sun Oaks has created a multi-functional cross-training facility designed to allow for a workout with an infinite number of exercises and combinations of exercises. Pull ups, push ups, jump rope, bench press, wall ball, power cleans, squats, box jumps, military press, dead lifts, and on and on! The SCC is a great venue for trying out new styles of training! Must be 18 years old to use SCC without Sun Oaks trainer supervision.
